Rock My Soul has a funky, bohemian style. The designs have kind of a 60’s/70’s vibe and mix neutrals with bright colours. It is important to reduce our impact on the environment and thus all the pillows are made of natural organic cotton and all the fill is kapok as opposed to synthetic material.

I was living in San Francisco when I started designing and have been greatly influenced by California and the west coast vibe. Music is also a great passion and influence for me; especially the psychedelic era. I love the ideas of love, freedom and peace and I believe that this really comes through in my designs.  I like my designs to make people feel good through the use of fun, funky prints and vibrant colours.

Pillows can be added to any room to provide a punch of colour and tie a room together by picking up little bits of colour throughout the space. At the end of the day it’s all about bringing warmth and joy into someone’s living space and helping them to create a space that they love being in. The same idea goes for the wall art.

These pieces are another way to add a splash of colour as well as visual interest and dimension to a room. They are a great alternative to expensive framed art or posters and as with the pillows, each one is handmade so no two are exactly the same.

Overall, Rock My Soul is all about making people feel good through design while also remaining as environmentally friendly as possible. As the company grows, and I am able to do it, I intend on continually reducing the carbon footprint of my company as well as giving back to charitable organizations, especially those relating to children, the arts and the environment.
